---Daley, Patrick J. (2 April 1937 – 13 March 2006)

Patrick J. Daley, 68, of Merrill, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at his home under Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services following a long battle with cancer.

Born April 2, 1937, in Merrill, Patrick was the son of James and Lillian Kretschmer Daley. He married Dolores Oleson on June 29, 1973. She survives.

Pat graduated from Merrill High School in 1955. He had worked at Merrill Manufacturing as a welder set-up from 1959-2002. Pat enjoyed riding his bicycle, camping, putting in his garage and traveling.

Survivors include his wife Dolores, Merrill; daughter Debra (Larry) Bergh, Kathleen Daley and Susan Daley, all of Merrill; sons Timothy (Mary) and Steven (Charlotte), both of Merrill; step-daughters Ida Jo (Phillip) Knospe and Linda (Brian) Sukow, both of Merrill; step-son Eugene (Marcia) Oleson, Merrill; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Michael, James and Jack (Danette), all of Merrill; Thomas (Ann), West Bend; and Jerry (Rene’), Merrill. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were be Thursday, March 16, 11 a.m. at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Robert Smallman will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, 4-8 p.m., and again Thursday morning from 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
