John Eugene Brady - Barefoot Bay

John Eugene Brady, 74, of Barefoot Bay, died April 19, 2004, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 23, 1929, in Merrill, Wis., and moved to Barefoot Bay in 1982 from Palm Bay. He attended Ripon College, Ripon, Wis., and Oshkosh State College, Oshkosh, Wis., and graduated from the University of Wichita in 1957. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired to Palm Bay in 1970. He then entered the real estate field.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10210, Sebastian.

Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Betty; sons Michael Brady, John Brady, James Brady and Daniel Brady; and three granddaughters.

SERVICES: Military honors will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, conducted by the American Legion Post No. 189, VFW Post No. 10210 and Polish League of American Veterans Post No. 210, all of Sebastian.
