Betty Elderton

BLOOMINGTON -- Betty D. Elderton, 82, of 408 Ryan Way, Edmond, Okla., formerly of 1303 1/2 Washington St., Bloomington, died at 10:56 a.m. Saturday (July 3, 2004) in Oklahoma City, Okla.

A graveside service will be at 3:03 p.m. Thursday at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.

Betty was born April 11, 1922, in Foster Junction, Wis., a daughter of Gustav and Emma Bjorklund Delene. They preceded her in death. She married Robert William Elderton on Sept. 3, 1949, in Merrill, Wis. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan K. Dreyer of Oregon; and three sons, John W. (Deb) Elderton, Heyworth; James K. (Susan) Elderton of Vermont; and David A. (Jodi) Elderton of Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded by three brothers.

Betty was a member of the Bloomington Chapter of the Eastern Star and a board member of the Lucy Orne Morgan Home.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
