Isabel DeLeon Schiltz

Isabel DeLeon Schiltz, 58, born Pharr, Texas, former resident of Tomahawk and Rhinelander, Wis., and Crystal Falls, Mich., died April 3, 2004, in Houston, Texas, after a battle with cancer.

Isabel is survived by her son, William R. Schiltz, Jr.; daughter, Stacy R. Schiltz, Houston, Texas; her siblings, Mary Ellen (Camacho) Black, Yolanda Camacho, and Eliazar Camacho, Jr., all of Clarksville, Tenn., Fred Camacho, Gordonsville, Tenn., and Josefina (Camacho) Unsell, St. Augustine, Fla.; granddaughters, Cierra Lee Rounsville and Alyssa Lee Rounsville, Green Bay, Wis., daughters of William Schiltz; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Isabel was preceded in death by her mother, Marina Camacho, Elgin, Illinois, and her father Eliazar Camacho, Joliet, Illinois. She was also preceded in death by her animal companion, Lobo Grande.

Isabel was fond of the places she lived and remembers friends dearly. She enjoyed her life experiences; gardening, traveling, ceramics, fishing, camping, animal care, helping others including those with disabilities, and bringing together family and friends. Isabel lived out her faith by example and shared her life with many.

Private funeral arrangements are being made by Northwoods Memorial Funeral Home, 211 West Helms, Houston, Texas, 77037. A private memorial is scheduled to take place in Joliet, Illinois at a later date.
