Everett N. Lokken of Schaumburg Funeral services for Everett Neil Lokken will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg.

Born Feb. 22, 1941, in Tomahawk, Wis., he passed away Monday, July 19, 2004, at the University of Chicago Health Center in Chicago. Interment will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, Palatine.

Mr. Lokken was a veteran, having served in the Air Force.

Everett is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judith (nee Dix); children, Cindy (John) Lokken-Kator, Todd (Jennifer) Lokken, Scott Lokken, Kristie Lokken and Dana Lokken; brothers, Gene (Carol) Lokken of Tomahawk and Leslie (Lolita) Lokken of Littleton, Colo; sisters, Patricia Dotter of Windemere, Fla., Joyce Bentley of Littleton; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and his first grandchild due in December.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Elsie Lokken; brothers, Terrance Lokken and James Lokken; and a sister, Ione Rosek.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a fund for Everett and Judy's severely handicapped child, Scott Lokken, at The Everett Lokken Family Fund, c/o Itasca State Bank and Trust Company, 308 W. Irving Park Road, Itasca, IL 60143.
