Jackie Dale Gleason

Jackie Dale Gleason, 55, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg.

The Gleason, Wis., native was a son of the late Wesley Gleason and Margaret Miller Gleason. He was employed by General Electric Company and was a member of Gleason Presbyterian Church. Mr. Gleason was a Vietnam Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Cutliff Gleason of Greensburg; one daughter and son; one stepson: Larry Minor of Cave City; one stepdaughter: Sharon Frazier and husband David of Glasgow; one sister: Tina Myers of Sheboygan, Wis.; two brothers: Clarence Gleason of Maywood, Ill., and Shorty Gleason of Rhinelander, Wis.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home, Park City Chapel, with burial in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Mammoth Cave.

Friends may call from 2 until 9 p.m. today and Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
