Joy Krueger, 84, of 720 E. Kings Rd., Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2005, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk.

Joy was born December 17, 1920, in Irma to the late Edward and Rose Crass. She married Clarence H. Krueger on September 20, 1939, in the town of Schley. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2001.

Joy was a lifelong resident of Tomahawk. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, cooking and nature. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomahawk.

Surviving are her daughter Marlyn Jensen, Melrose; sons Jerry (Barb), Plover; Don (Kathy), Oshkosh; and Ron (Mary), Eagle River; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and brother Norman Crass, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence; sister Betty Flynn; and brothers Lloyd and Edward Crass.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Schoenherr will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 9 a.m. until the hour of services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk in the spring.
