Services Friday in Irma for Nelse Michelson

Nelse Peter Michelson, 73, Irma Route 2, Passed away at 2 a.m. Wednesday at the DuPage Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, Illinois. He had been in ailing health the past year and seriously ill the past ten days.

A retired store keeper and farmer, he was born February 27, 1882 in Denmark. He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran church, Irma.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Freed officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at Irma.

Mr. Michelson is in state at the Taylor funeral home. Friends may call until 10 a.m. Friday at which time he will be taken to the church to lie in state from 11 a.m. until the hour of services.

Surviving are his wife, Loretta; three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Lillian) Cottrell, Irma; Mrs. Robert (Hilda) Bhen, Cleveland; and Mrs. James (Anna Mae) Feeder, Merrill; a son, John, Kansas City; two step daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Geraldine) Nelson and Mrs. Esther Anderson, North Lake, Illinois; and 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

His parents, first wife and two sons in infancy preceded him in death.
