Mrs. O. Peterson

Mrs. Otto Peterson, 79, route one, Irma, Mother of Mrs. Leroy Schuetz, tomahawk died early Sunday morning at a Madison hospital. She had been seriously ill for the past two weeks.

Services were held yesterday (Wednesday) at Bethany Lutheran Church, Irma, with the Rev. Edmund Kot officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The Taylor Funeral Home, Merrill, handled the arrangements.

The former Elizabeth Nelson was born Feb 16, 1891 in Ludington, Mich. daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gust Nelson. She married Mr. Peterson on Aug. 14, 1910 in the Town of Birch. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church Woman.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Schuetz, Tomahawk, Mrs. William Lutzke, Irma, Mrs. Harold Peeters, Merrill, and Mrs. Roger Dahlquist, Rhinelander. Other survivors include four sons, Lyle, Rhinelander, Royal, Irma, Dale, Beloit, and Otto E. Peterson, Merrill; two sisters, Mrs. Hilma Venner and Mrs. Myrtle Rowe, both of Merrill, 31 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren also survive.
