Jean Schwartz and Thomas Gleich, both of Merrill, were joined in holy matrimony on September 25, 2004, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill. Rev. David Klemm officiated at the afternoon service where music was provided by organist Betty Tesch and soloist Sherry Kleinschmidt.

The bride is the daughter of Lawrence and Patricia Schwartz, Merrill. The groom is the son of Mary Simerson, Merrill; and Gerald Gleich, Antigo.

Maid of honor was Sara Meunier, the bride’s cousin, Merrill, and Randy Krueger, the groom’s brother-in-law, Merrill, was best man. Also standing up for the couple were bridesmaid Molly Gleich, sister of the groom, Merrill; and groomsman Mike Leitermann, the groom’s uncle, Antigo.

Usher was Joe Schwartz, brother of the bride, Merrill. Special attendants were Kathleen Whitt, the bride’s aunt, and Peter Schwartz, brother of the bride, both of Merrill.

A reception was held at The Arena in Merrill. Jean is a 1991 graduate of Merrill High School. She is employed at North Central Health Care. Thomas is a 1987 graduate of Antigo High School. He is employed at L & S Electric. The pair lives in Merrill.
