Dolores E. Hagedorn, age 70, of Merrill, died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. The funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 30, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Merrill. The complete obituary can be found in next week’s Foto news.

Dolores E. Hagedorn, age 70, of Merrill, Town of Pine River, died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Good Samaritan Health Center in Merrill.

Dolores was born April 22, 1934, in Merrill to Edwin and Mabel Wendt Wegner. She married Richard G. Hagedorn on May 8, 1954, at Trinity Lutheran C in the town of Berlin.

Dolores was the member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Merrill where she was active in ELCA, the Miriam Circle and was a former Sunday school teacher. Dolores was a homemaker who enjoyed making crafts, baking, flower and vegetable gardening, playing cards, listening to music and traveling.

Survivors include her husband Richard; daughter Nancy (Phil) Woller, Plover; sons Richard Jr. (Joan), Madison; and mark and Daniel, both of Merrill; and grandson Richard Hagedorn III, Madison. Also surviving are sister Margaret (Roger) Kniess, Wausau; brother Franklin (Astrid) Wegner, Merrill; sister-in-law Henrietta Wegner, Stetsonville; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Harry.

Funeral services were Thursday, March 10, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Merrill. Revs. Jeff Martinson and Ted Gulhaugen officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park. The Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.
