---Graap, Gareth Rodney (5 Dec. 1962 – 30 Apr. 2005)

Gareth Rodney Graap, 42, of Merrill, died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Langlade Memorial Hospital in Antigo from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Merrill on December 5, 1962, Gareth was the son of Shirley Schneck Graap and the late Rinehardt Graap.

Gareth had worked for Hurd Millwork and Lincoln Wood. He was known as a man of all trades. He enjoyed family cookouts, playing yard darts and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his son Bobby Joe “B.J.” (Gina Milanowski) Lipke, Merrill; mother Shirley Graap, Merrill; sisters Lorraine (John) Hutchens, Plainfield; Leanne Andzewski, Wausau, Lesley Graap, Tomahawk; and Lou Wenda (Steve Podeweltz) Peterson; Lonna (Scott Boyd) Graap and Lana (Brad Hirte) Graap, all of Merrill; and brothers Gerhardt (Marlene), Merrill; Geoffrey, Fox Lake; and Gabriel, Merrill; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, brothers Garland, Gregory and Galen; and nephews Cory and Jeremy.

Funeral services were Wednesday, May 4, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. David Klemm officiated. Burial was in Merrill Memorial Park.
