Lillian P. Wengeler, 89, of 1412 E. Tenth St., Merrill, died Sunday, May 22, 2005, at her residence.

Lillian was born April 17, 1916, in the Town of Pine River, Lincoln County, daughter of the late William and Ella Nienow Hagedorn. She married Eugene E. Wengeler on May 7, 1938, in the Town of Pine River. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1986.

Lillian had been a homemaker. She was a member of St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ, Merrill. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include daughters Naomi (Harvey) Berg, Merrill; and Geraldine (Jon) Robinson, LaValle; grandchildren Pamela Berg, Merrill; and Harvey (Pam) Berg Jr., Mountain Home, Ark.; and great-grandchildren Aubrey and Tyler. Also surviving are sisters Adela Zastrow and Mildred Klimek and brother Harold Hagedorn, all of Merrill.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26, at the Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. Earl Eckhart will officiate. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation will be begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
