Gail Anita Cegielski, 64, of Merrill, died Sunday, August 14, 2005, at her residence.

Born December 26, 1940, in Atlanta, Ga., Gail was the daughter of the late George and Daisy Kilgore Johnson. She married Ted Cegielski in Georgia on August 26, 1969. He survives.

Gail was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed flower gardening and going to auto races. Gail enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband Thaddeus “Ted” Donald Horvath Cegielski, Merrill; sons Wayne (Marion) Lammert and Paul (Paula) Cegielski, both of Merrill; and Greg Cegielski, Medford; daughter Pamela Lewis, Phoenix, Ariz.; and grandchildren Danielle and Chris Lammert, Rory and Trista Cegielski and Dustin Lewis. She was preceded in death by brother Jerry Johnson.

Funeral services are Wednesday evening, August 17, 7 p.m., at The Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Terry Carney will officiate. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to the hour of this evening’s services at the funeral home.
