Juanita V. “Nita” Noll, 92, of 1500 O’Day St., Merrill, died Monday, October 17, 2005, at Bell Tower Residence, Merrill.

Nita was born July 13, 1913, in Oklahoma, daughter of the late Aaron B. and Lillie Mae Box Johns. She married George Noll in March 1985. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2003.

Nita was a devoted and loving wife to George. At her retirement, Nita worked in quality control for Texas Instrument in Austin, Texas. Nita was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bloomville. She adored her grandchildren, especially her granddaughter Teresa Gruhlkey and her husband Kurt and their children Candace and Aaron. Nita like to sew and do volunteer work. She found great pleasure in being a good homemaker and a great mother.

Survivors include her brother Leo (Georganna) Johns, Midlothian, Va.; one sister, Nadine Stockard, Arlington, Va.; step-sons David (Nina) Noll, Harlingen, Texas; and Paul Noll, Seattle, Wash.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons Aaron H. Wester and John G. Wester; and siblings Vivian Sqyres, Louise Gray and Carl Johns.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, at St. John Baptist Catholic Church, Bloomville. Rev. Edward Powell and Michele Rein will co-officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. The Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
