Lawrence “Larry” Van Ryen, 41, of N8885 Beliveau Rd., Tomahawk, died Wednesday, September 8, 2004, at Howard Young Medical Center, Woodruff.

Larry was born August 2, 1962 to Pete and Blanche Van Ryen. He was formerly married to Barbara Jaecks.

Larry enjoyed fishing, elk hunting in Idaho and deer hunting. He was formerly employed with Tomahawk Power and Pulp and Northland Stainless. He was currently employed with Pete’s Pump in Tomahawk.

Survivors include his parents Pete and Blanche Van Ryen, Tomahawk; daughters Amanda, Melinda and Susie Van Ryen, all at home; and his paternal grandmother Margaret Van Ryen-Orlowski, Tomahawk. Also surviving are sisters Debby (Jeff) Ingman and Becky (Chester) Jaecks, both of Tomahawk; and Tracy Van Ryen, Irma; brother Casey, Tomahawk; former wife Barb Van Ryen, Tomahawk; five nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services were Friday, September 10, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Schoenherr officiated. Krueger and Sons Funeral Home, Tomahawk, handled the arrangements.
