Christopher John Grubb, 16, of Merrill, died Thursday, November 11, 2004, in the town of Merrill.

He was born July 1, 1988, in Merrill.

Christ was a junior at Merrill High School. He loved hunting, fishing, art work and all outdoor activities. Chris especially enjoyed doing things with his nieces and nephews. He was well like and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Surviving are his mother and step-father Patricia and Mike Boyd, Merrill; his father and step-mother Wayne and Kelly Grubb, Merrill; sisters Samantha (Cory) Buck, Tomahawk; and Amanda Grubb, Merrill; step-sisters Kristen and Nicole Boyd, both of Merrill; and step-brothers Cody Boyd and Dakota Patton, both of Merrill. Also surviving are maternal grandparents Kenneth and Mary Ann Van Der Geest, Merrill; paternal grandparents Harold and Annabelle Grubb, Wausau; maternal great-grandparents Ralph and Florence Schewe, Merrill, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Sunday, November 14, at the Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. Rev. Dan Langhoff of New Testament Church, Merrill, officiated.
