---Nutter, Warren J. (2 April 1915 – 11 Dec. 2004)

Warren J. Nutter, 89, formerly of Rothcild, died Sunday, December 11, 2004, at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.

He was born April 2, 1915, in Wausau, son of the late Warren and Florence Peterson Nutter. On April 4, 1950, he married Gertrude Wilde in Arizona. She preceded him in death on March 15, 2000.

Warren was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving in World War II. He then was employed at Wanta Asphalt Company, Schofield, until the time of his retirement. Warren enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his daughter Beverly (Frank) Bloom, Wausau; sons Brian (Julie), Colby; Greg (Diane), Wausau; Scott (Yvonne), Athens; and Jack, Iowa; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, John, Wausau; Edward (Shirley), Sussex; and Ken (Esther), Fountain Hills, Ariz. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by grandson Frank Bloom Jr.; great-granddaughter Rebecca Nutter; and brothers Earl, Bert and Charles.

Funeral services were Tuesday, December 14, at Peterson/Kreamer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers officiated. Online condolences at www.petersonkraemer.com.
