---Wyma, Lizabeth (Marriage – 31 July 2004)

Lizabeth Wyma and Michael O’Malley, Jr., both of Park Ridge, Ill., were married July 31, 2004, at Hall’s Point in Burlington. Rev. Conci Mesquita officiated at the afternoon ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey and Beth Wyma, Merrill. The groom is the son of Michael and Mary Ellen O’Malley Sr., Park Ridge, Ill.

Maid of honor was Monica Schmidt, Merrill; and Sean and Patrick O’Malley, brothers of the groom, Park Ridge, Ill.; were best men.

Serving as bridesmaids were Rachel Wyma, sister of the bride, Merrill; Catherine O’Malley, sister of the groom, Park Ridge, Ill.; Jacquelyn Wissen, Merrill; Gina Spychalla, Germantown; Jillan Hojan, the bride’s cousin, Merrill; Alyssa Knepper, the bride’s cousin, Caledonia; and Tiffany Gilleland, Palatine, Ill. Flower girls were Lydia Knepper, the bride’s cousin, Florence; McKenzie Christensen, the bride’s cousin, Racine; and Isabella O’Malley-Hernandez, the bride’s cousin, Palm Springs, Calif.

Groomsmen included Thomas Winter Cohen, Minneapolis, Minn.; Nicholas Vassilos, London, England; Taylor Duncan and Adam Knight, both of Park Ridge, Ill.; Jacob Wyma, brother of the bride, Merrill; and Kasey Marty, Chicago, Ill. Ring bearers included Matthew Helfenbein, the groom’s cousin, Chicago, Ill.; and Seth Nowak, the bride’s cousin, Milwaukee.

Ushers included friends from UW Madison.

A reception was held following the service at Hall’s Point Park on Brown’s Lake in Burlington.

Both the bride and groom attend graduate school in DePaul University, Chicago, Ill.
