Beltz Mavis L. Beltz, 76, Merrill, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at Marywood Convalescent Home, Wausau, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services and the Marywood staff. Mavis worked as a private home health care provider. Survivors include four daughters, Cindy Frisch, Irma, Julie (Toby) Teschner, Gleason, and Patti (Brian) Knetter and Becky (Porky) Sabatke, both of Merrill; one son, Brian (Peggy) Beltz, Irma; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Elaine Brock, Merrill; and two brothers, William (Diane) Pophal, Hustisford, and John (Barbara) Pophal, Merrill. Memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Burial will be at a later date in Snow Hill Cemetery, town of Scott. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. *Birth date taken from the SSDI. |
