Herbert Saeger

Herbert W. Saeger, 82, 807 Cottage St., Merrill, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at his daughter's home in Merrill, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

Services are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Herbert W. Saeger, 82, 807 Cottage St., Merrill, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at the home of his daughter and under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was employed with Semco in Merrill for 29 years.

Survivors include his daughter, Lorraine (Remi) Schwartz, Merrill; his son, Roland (Kim Lewis) Bethlehem, Penn.; five grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and one brother, Robert J. Krueger, Merrill.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery, town of Scott, with graveside military rites conducted by the VFW Post 1638, Merrill. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
