Dorothy J. Harrison

 

Dorothy Jean Harrison, nee Brown, 53, of Arlington Heights, for 10 years, died suddenly Monday in Tomahawk, Wis., while there on a vacation. She was pronounced death at St. Theresa Hospital, Tomahawk.

 

Since 1970, Mrs. Harrison had been the vice president of Gensco Metal Sales Corp., 1522 Jarvis St., Elk Grove Village. Born in Ord, Neb., Aug. 17, 1921, she was a veteran of World War II, U. S. Navy, having served in the disbursement unit of the Waves as a Lt.

 

Visitation is today from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in Halre Funeral Home, Northwest Highway and Vail Avenue, Arlington Heights, and where a private family funeral service will be Thursday. Officiating will be the Rev. Arthur R. Schultz.

 

She is survived by her husband, Herbert V.; two daughters, Patricia (Arthur A.) Schultz of Oak Park and Deborah K. Harrison of Ames, Iowa; two sons, Robert E. and Edward A. Harrison, both of Arlington Heights; one grandson, Charles David Schultz of Oak Park, and mother, Carolyn Geddes of Lincoln, Neb.
