Harriette B. Jones

Harriette B. Jones, age 84, of Tomahawk, died on Saturday, March 27, 2004, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff.

Harriette was born November 3, 1919 in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin to the late Martin and Edith Bergeson. She married Eugene H. Jones on February 19, 1949, in Winnetka, Illinois, he passed away in 1986. Harriette cooked at various restaurants in the Tomahawk area, she worked for Dr. Al Stahmer for over 30 years, she cooked at Sacred Heart Hospital for six years and was the Dietary Manager at Riverview Terrace Nursing Home for 13 years. She was a member of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomahawk.

Harriette is survived by four daughters, Delores (Leonard) Weinand of Medford; Charlyne (Fran Pflum) Egelkrout and Lori (Donald) Winker, both of Tomahawk and Lila (Ken) Dumar of Rhinelander; three sons, Larry Jones of Tomahawk; Jeffrey (Debbie) Jones of Mosinee; and Marty (Gail) Jones of Madison; a sister, Doris (Ted) Kalbasz of Melbourne, Fla; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Harriette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, Phillip.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 4, at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. Mark Gass will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of services. Krueger & Sons Funeral Home, 101 North Second Street, Tomahawk, Wisc 54487, (715)453-3808, is assisting the family.
