Phillip J. Beese

Phillip J. Beese, 25, N881 Red Tail Lane, Merrill, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005.

Phillip was born Nov. 5, 1979, in Appleton, to James and Barbara (Obermann) Beese.

He was a 1998 graduate of Wausau East High School and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a degree in education. He was to have started this school year as a fifth-grade teacher at St. Francis Elementary School, Merrill. Phillip loved the outdoors, especially when fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed music and playing guitar.

Survivors include his parents, Jim and Barb Beese, Merrill; a sister, Rebecca Beese, Madison; maternal grandmother, Janet Obermann, Wausau; many aunts and uncles; and close friend, Holly Rice, Merrill. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Obermann Sr.; and his paternal grandparents, Carl and Lorraine Beese.

A private family memorial service will be held at the Brainard Funeral Home, Wausau.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Phillip Beese Memorial Fund at The Salvation Army.
