Peter J. Voermans

Peter J. Voermans, 91, N10290 Highway D, Harrison, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at his home.
Pete farmed and did carpentry work. Later he was employed at the former Owens-Illinois Paper Mill for 15 years, retiring in 1976.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice (Schuit) Voermans, Harrison; two daughters, Patricia Voermans, Madison, and Kathleen (Charles) Maderer, Chicago; one son, John (Beverly) Voermans, Harrison; a half-brother, Gordon (Katie) Kaatz, Wisconsin Rapids; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Harrison. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Krueger and Sons Funeral Home, Tomahawk, and again from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the church. Parish vigil services will be 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to St. Augustine Catholic Church.
