Vandenbush, Mary Kay

Mary Kay Vandenbush (nee Copiskey), 49, Anglers Avenue, Tomahawk, passed away on Friday, Sept. 30, 2005, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk.

She was born July 13, 1956, in Tomahawk, to the late Lyle and Bea Copiskey. She was a 1974 graduate of Tomahawk High School. She was later married to Greg Vandenbush on Nov. 7, 1980, in Tomahawk; he passed away in 1997. Mary Kay lived in Green Bay for 20 years and moved back to the Tomahawk area in 1994. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. She worked at the Golden Age Rehabilitation and Care Center in Tomahawk as a dietary manager for many years and enjoyed all of the friendships she made there.

Survivors include one daughter, Alicia (Travis) Friske, Tomahawk; two grandchildren, Keaton and Zachery, both of Tomahawk; two sisters, Sally (Larry) Engleman and Sharon (Steve) Johnson, both of Tomahawk; a special friend, Jerry Griswold, Tomahawk; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Bea; her husband, Greg; and her brother, Harry.

Funeral services for Mary Kay Vandenbush will be held Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at 3 p.m. from the Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. The Rev. John Anderson will officiate with Interment at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m.
