Rosella A. Bloch, 71, 215 Grand Ave., Merrill, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.

She was born August 25, 1930, in Lincoln County, daughter of the late Paul and Minnie (Kleinschmidt) Woller. Rosella married Raymond Bloch on Oct. 27, 1951, in the town of Hamburg. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1979.

Rosella was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, town of Hamburg. She had been a foster grandparent at Lincoln Hills School, Irma. Rosella enjoyed needlepoint, playing cards and board games.

Survivors include one daughter, Diane (Matt) Bloch-Kell, Gainesville, Fla.; two sons, Larry (Janice) Bloch and Jerry (Jodi) Bloch, both of Athens; eight grandchildren, Lance, Lukas, Jackie, Jenny, Andrew and Alex Bloch, and Jason and Jessica Holtet; two great-grandchildren, Dylan Bloch and Anthony Holtet; and three brothers, Roy (Leona) Woller and Max (Corky) Woller, all of Lake Tomahawk; and LaVern (Fran) Woller, Schofield. Rosella was preceded in death by one sister, Arlene Raasch; and two brothers, Edwin and Eldor Woller.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2002, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hamburg. The Rev. Kenneth D. Rahn will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Town of Hamburg. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Taylor and Stine Funeral home, Merrill, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
