Patricia C. Upham

Formerly resided in Mont Vernon for more than 20 years

Patricia C. Upham, 61, of Weare, died Jan. 15, 2003, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, Mass.

She was born in Tomahawk, Wis., on Feb. 4, 1941, a daughter of Dorothy (Cook) Dolan of Shawano, Wis., and the late Theodore Dolan.

Mrs. Upham had been a resident of Weare for the past three years and had formerly resided in Mont Vernon for more than 20 years.

She had been employed by Information Unlimited in Mont Vernon for 16 years and more recently worked at Wal-Mart in Amherst for several years.

Mrs. Upham enjoyed crafts, gardening and “her beach.” She was a loving wife and mother and a devoted grandmother.

She was predeceased by a brother, Theodore Dolan.

In addition to her mother, family members include her husband of 26 years, Richard W. Upham of Weare; two daughters, Sharon Gordon of Swanzey and Sheryl Upham of Milford; two sons, Christopher Upham of Weare and Joshua Upham of Nashua; six grandchildren; a sister, Kathy Gustafson of Idaho; two brothers, Michael Dolan of Minnesota and James Dolan of Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Jan. 18 in the Household of Faith Church, Amherst, followed by cremation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Souhegan Boys & Girls Club, 183 Elm St., Milford, NH 03055. Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford, was in charge of arrangements.
