Mark Bahlow

Mark E. Bahlow, 46, of 1004 Cottage St., Merrill, died Friday, July 14, 2006, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Mark was born March 6, 1960, in Merrill, son of Dorothy (Kienbaum) Bahlow, Merrill, and the late Edwin Bahlow. He married Sandy Genrich on Oct. 25, 2003. She survives.

Mark was a bricklayer. He was first employed with J&J Lee Construction, Merrill, and most recently with Miron Construction. He was a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers, Local No. 6. Mark was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. He served two terms on the Merrill City Council as Fifth Ward Alderman. Mark enjoyed NASCAR, snowmobiling, the Green Bay Packers and his dog, "Buffy."

Mark is survived by his wife, Sandy Bahlow, Merrill; his mother, Dorothy Bahlow, Merrill; one daughter, Erin Bahlow, Merrill; one son, Matthew Bahlow, Merrill; two stepdaughters, Sara Kufahl, Merrill, and Ashley Kufahl, St. Cloud, Minn.; one stepson, Kyle Kufahl, Merrill; one sister, Barb (Phil) Borchardt, Merrill; and one brother-in-law, John Genrich, Wausau. 

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. David Klemm will officiate. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the Taylor & Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
