Mrs. August Jaeger

The body of Mrs. August Jaeger, 62, town of Pine River, Lincoln County, who died Sunday noon at Holy Cross hospital in Merrill after ailing the past year, will be buried in St. James Church Cemetery in that Town, following noon at 1:30 o’clock at the family home and at 2 o’clock at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in the Town of Pine River. The Rev. Chris Domke will officiate.

Ida Jahns was born September 2, 1887, in the town of Maine and was married December 15, 1934, to Mr. Jaeger. She was a member of the ladies’ aid society of St. James Lutheran Church, Town of Pine River.

Surviving are the widower; six children, Mrs. Adolph Weiss, Hetland, S. D.; Mrs. Marcus Sturm, town of Maine, Mrs. Herbert Wengeler, town of Pine River, Mrs. George Stasser, at home, Mrs. Alfred Schmidt, town of Corning, Lincoln County, and Hugo Rusch, Mercer; her mother, Mrs. Mathilda Jahns, 81, Merrill; a brother, Ernest Jahns, Merrill; and 14 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Walter Steidtman, Sigmund Woller, Theordore Gruetzmacher, Martin Weege, Reinhold Weiss and Alfred Latzig.

**Note – Ida was first married to Edward E. W. H. Rusch on Oct. 22, 1904. Edward Rusch had preceded his wife in death on July 7, 1931.
