Angeline Pophal

Angeline A. Pophal, 92, 2100 E. Sixth St., Merrill, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.

Angeline worked in the laundry department at Pine Crest Nursing Home from 1957-1980.

Survivors include four daughters, Margie Mae (Roger) Young, Neenah, and Beverly (George) Kleist, Phyllis (Paul) Mussell and Judith (David) Kleinschmidt, all of Merrill; two sons, Carl (Audrey) Pophal, Jr. and David (Trude) Pophal, both of Merrill; 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren,; one sister, Violet Bronson, West Allis; one brother, Lawrence (Marsha Nutter, Wausau) Nutter, Merrill; and many other relatives and friends.  

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Burial will be in Chat Cemetery, town of Birch. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Angeline Pophal

Angeline A. Pophal, 92, 2100 E. Sixth St., Merrill, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.

Services scheduled for today at the Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, have been postponed due to the death of her son, David D. Pophal.

Services for Angeline and her son, David, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Merrill. Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Chat Cemetery, town of Birch. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the church.  

Taylor and Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
