Geralyn Reichl

Geralyn Reichl, 48, Tomahawk, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Geralyn was a customer service representative for Wausau Chemicals.

Survivors include her husband, Stuart, Tomahawk; one daughter, Stephanie Mootz (Troy Weisenberger), Wausau; her parents, Donald and Lucille (Leistikow) Raasch, Merrill; one brother Gary Raasch, Marathon; one sister; Julie (David) MacLeod, Prior Lake, Minn.; and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials directed to the Wausau or Merrill Relay for Life Organization.

Geralyn Reichl

Geralyn Reichl, 48, Tomahawk, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Geralyn was born May 28, 1955, in Merrill to Donald and Lucille (Leistikow) Raasch. She married Stuart Reichl on July 18, 1997, in Wausau. Geralyn was a customer service representative at Wausau Chemicals. Geralyn was an avid snowmobiler and motorcyclist. She and her husband, Stuart, belonged to Trailmates Snowmobile Club, Wausau. Geralyn enjoyed landscaping and working on their new home in Tomahawk. Geralyn loved going on vacation with her husband and going to craft shows with her mother and daughter.

Survivors include her husband, Stuart, Tomahawk; a daughter, Stephanie Mootz (Troy Weisenberger), Wausau; her mother and father, Donald and Lucille Raasch, Merrill; a brother, Gary Raasch, Marathon; a sister, Julie (David) MacLeod, Prior Lake, Minn.; mother-and father-in-law, Daniel and Shirley Reichl, Wausau; three brothers-in-law, Steve (Barb) Reichl and Scott Reichl, both of Wausau, and Mark (Jeri Ann) Reichl, Wisconsin Rapids; and nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to friend Stacey Duir.

Geralyn was preceded in death by her grandfather and grandmother, Elmer and Elsie Leistikow.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Officiating will be the Rev. John Roseth. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
