Margaret Schulz

Margaret "Margy" M. Schulz, 56, Merrill, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at Hospice House in Wausau.

Margy was employed at Washington Elementary School for more than 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Schulz, Merrill; her daughter, Stephanie (David) Miller, Woodbury, Minn.; her son, Scott Schulz, Merrill; her mother, Frances (Ashauer) Huss, Merrill; two grandsons; two sisters, Laurie (Rick) Collins and Mary (Pat) Betzner, all of Merrill; two brothers, John (Linda) Huss, Merrill, and Paul (Angela) Huss, Appleton; and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Waid Funeral Home, Merrill.

Memorials may be given to St. Francis Catholic Church in Merrill.

Margaret 'Margy' M. Schulz

Margaret "Margy" M. Schulz, 56, of Merrill died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at Hospice House in Wausau surrounded by her family.

She was born May 2, 1950, in Merrill, daughter of Frances (Ashauer) Huss and the late Delbert Huss. She married Steve Schulz on Sept. 14, 1968. He survives.

Margy attended Holy Cross High School and graduated from Merrill High School in 1968. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Merrill.

Margy was employed at Washington Elementary School for more than 25 years. She enjoyed traveling, and spending time boating at her cottage on Lake Alexander.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Steve Schulz of Merrill; her daughter, Stephanie (David) Miller of Woodbury, Minn.; her son, Scott Schulz of Merrill; her mother, Frances Huss of Merrill; two grandsons, Andrew and Charlie Miller of Woodbury; two sisters, Laurie (Rick) Collins and Mary (Pat) Betzner, all of Merrill; two brothers, John (Linda) Huss of Merrill and Paul (Angela) Huss of Appleton; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Margy was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Huss.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. The Rev. James Horath will officiate. Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Waid Funeral Home, Merrill.

Memorials may be given to St. Francis Catholic Church in Merrill.

You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears,

be happy that we had so many years.

I thank you for the love you each have shown,

but now it's time I traveled alone.

It's only for awhile that we must part,

so bless the memories within your heart.
