The Townships of Outagamie County

 

When Outagamie County separated from Brown County in 1851, there were six original townships, which are listed below.  Five still exist today, all except Lansing, which was divided into the towns of Center, Freedom and part of the land to the north.

 

Kaukauna, 1842 Grand Chute, 1849 Lansing, 1849
Greenville, 1850 Hortonia, 1850 Ellington, 1850
