Stephen Barker was born August 2, 1759 and died in Grant County Kentucky
September 16, 1842. He enlisted at Poughkeepsie, New York in 1778. Pensioned
in 1819, he was living in Grant County in 1840, age 81. His widow, Elizabeth
Massey Barker, married him in Madison County, Kentucky July 8,
1805.
