Reuben Barnes born July 8, 1857, died October 5, 1949,married Sallie
Elizabeth Webb August 4, 1880. Moved to Kansas from Kentucky in 1886.

Sallie Elizabeth Webb born March 14, 1861,died September 28, 1901.

Children:
1. George Webb Barnes born September 18, 1882, married June 8,
1904 Maude Wilson, born October 18, 1882. No children.

2. Pauline Barnes born March 17, 1884 married April 2,
1912 Conrad Rice, born February 4, 1887. Adopted one
daughter, Eloise Elizabeth Rice born August 19, 1919 married
April 19, 1941 Robert Howard. Two children: Pauline and John.

3. Robbie Lee Barnes born May 2, 1886, died February 4, 1947,
married January 1, 1907 Zona Harris, born October 2, 1888.
Children: (1) Robert Barnes, born October 24, 1807, married
January 1, 1928 Anita Doll. Son: Robert Eugene Barnes.
(2) Clyde Barnes born February 24, 1912, married February
23, 1934 Dorothy Gormley. Children: Beverly and Larry.

4. Claude Francis Barnes born August 17, 1888, married June
26, 1912 Maud Brooks. Children: (1) Marjorie Barnes and (2)
Melvin Barnes married Lucille Cash. Two children.

5. Edythe May Barnes born May 8, 1891, married October 22,
1949 Gerald Harkin, born July 28, 1902. No children.

6. Nellie Belle Barnes born January 30, 1892, married January
1, 1916 Arthur Allen, born September 17, 1890, died September
15, 1935. Children: (1) Marvin Allen born November 18, 1918,
died September 23, 1946, married June 16, 1946 Patricia Sanford.
(2) Harold Keith Allen born February 6, 1921, married January
23, 1943 Aliere Witherup. Children: Linda and Judy Allen.

7. Harold Reuben Barnes born May 10, 1900, married June 24,
1926 Clara Purel. Children: Two adopted and one of their own.

8. Marguerite Sarah Elizabeth Barnes born September 18, 1901,
died June 25, 1937, married May 20, 1928 Thomas Hart. One
son: George Robert Hart.
