William Points

William Points, son of Luke, was born March 18, 1811 in Grant County, Kentucky, and died March 5, 1902 in Grant County. He married Margaret Franks October 8, 1838 in Grant County, daughter of William Franks and Nancy Webster. She was born September 6, 1823 in Grant County and died in Grant County September 9, 1881. William and Margaret are buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Grant County. Their children:

1.  Nancy Jane Points was born in 1840 and died January 31, 1866. She married Thomas William Webster December 26, 1861 in Grant County, Kentucky, son of Larkin Webster and Lucinda Dumas. He was born November 6, 1836 in Grant County. It is reported that soon after their marriage they moved to Clark County, Missouri, but returned to Grant County about 1891. It is also reported that Thomas later returned to Missouri, moved on to Humnoke, Arkansas, where he died died in 1916.

2.  John Thomas Points was born November 19, 1840 in Grant County, Kentucky and died in Grant County March 30, 1913. He married Harriett Ann McBee November 21, 1867 in Grant County, daughter of Walter McBee. She was born in 1845 and died in 1931. John Thomas Points attended the Cincinnati School of Medicine and graduated from that institution and the Eclectic College of Cincinnati, and was a physician. They are buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Grant County, Kentucky.

3.  Mary Ann Points was born September 15, 1842 in Grant County, Kentucky.

4.  Infant Points born and died November 9, 1843. Buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Grant County, Kentucky.

5.  Daniel Points was born 1845 in Grant County, Kentucky and died October 20, 1905 at his home one mile west of Sherman, Kentucky. He married Nancy A. Franks October 2, 1866 in Clark County, Missouri, daughter of Daniel Franks and Averilla Mitts. She was born in 1849 in Grant County and died in Grant County in 1939. They are buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Grant County.

6.  Sarah Ellen Points was born August 6, 1844 in Grant County, Kentucky and died in Grant County, Kentucky on May 5, 1879. She married John McBee November 10, 1870 in Grant County. Sarah Ellen is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Grant County, Kentucky.

7.  Martha Ann Points was born April 29, 1848 in Grant County, Kentucky and died in Grant County August 19, 1919. She married Thomas Jefferson Spillman in Grant County, December 24, 1874. He was born August 26, 1841 in Kenton County, Kentucky and died October 2, 1920 in Grant County. They are buried in Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, Grant County, Kentucky.

8.  Elizabeth Points was born in Grant County in 1848 and died August 19, 1919 in Grant County, Kentucky.

9.  Amanda Margaret Points was born April 12, 1851 in Grant County, Kentucky and died May 30, 1858 in Grant County, Kentucky.

10.  William Hutchinson Points was born in Grant County, Kentucky in 1853 and died in Grant County in 1920. He married Emma Ella Price March 13, 1880 in Grant County. She was born March 17, 1855 in Grant County and died January 20, 1928 in Grant County. They are buried in Williamstown Cemetery in Grant County.

11.  Susan A. Points was born in Grant County, Kentucky on February 6, 1855 and died in Grant County June 21, 1898. She married Alfred W. Spillman November 13, 1877 in Grant County. He was born in Grant County in 1858 and died July 21, 1929 in Grant County. They are buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Grant County, Ky.

12. Rosa Bell Points was born February 14, 1857 in Grant County, Kentucky and died in Grant County on January 8, 1941. She married John Newton Franks on October 16, 1878 in Gallatin County, Kentucky, son of Isaac R. Franks and Mary A. Conyers. He was born March 4, 1854 in Grant County and died March 9, 1940 in Grant County. They are buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Grant County.

13. Katherine Points was born April 19, 1858 in Grant County, Kentucky and died May 23, 1881. She married John Cabell Breckinridge Conrad September 30, 1879 in Grant County. A son of William G. Conrad, J. C. B. was born November 5, 1856 in Grant County. Katherine "Katie" is buried in Conrad Cemetery, Grant County.

14. David Christian Points was born September 21, 1861.

15. Hulda Points was born in Grant County, Kentucky in 1862. She married William A. Vest October 10, 1888 in Grant County. He was born May 22, 1850 and died August 22, 1919 in Grant County, Kentucky. They are buried in Williamstown Cemetery, Williamstown, Grant County, Kentucky.

16. Dora M. Points was born 1866 in Grant County, Kentucky and married Robert Johnson.
