Daniel Stewart

Daniel Stewart is found in Grant and Owen Counties, Kentucky. An old survey book in Grant County Clerk's Office shows that Daniel, Elisha, and Isaac were surveying lands together in 1824 and 1835. His sons seem to have lived in Owen County. Daniel died intestate in Owen County, Kentucky, probably in September 1841 as the inventory was filed on the 21st of that month by Elisha Stewart, administration. His known children are:

1. Elisha, born circa 1805 in Kentucky, married in Grant County, November 13, 1828, Sarah Beverly, daughter of Stephen and Lucy Beverly. He died in Owen County November 1841. Sarah was still living in 1860. They had five sons and four daughters.

2. Isaac A., born circa 1807-09 in Kentucky, married in Grant County August 25, 1831, Nancy Beverly, daughter of Stephen and Lucy Beverly. They were still living in Owen County in 1870; death dates are unknown. They had two sons.

3. Malinda, born circa 1812 in Kentucky, married in Grant County, August 9, 1830, Andrew Beverly, son of Stephen and Lucy Beverly; died in Grant County before December 6, 1853. They had four sons and two daughters.

4. Jesse.
