Came to MO in 1797 with son-in-law Daniel McCoy, Joseph and
John McCoy from Harrison, KY.
1805 Tax List St. Charles 3 in family 1 horse, 4 neat cattle 90 cents tax.
Cert. #737 6-1-1811 Henry Zumwalt JR issued & claimed 400 arpents on Cuivre.
Claimed 7-2-1810 450 arpents. This was son-in-law Henry Zumwalt JR - also
known as Henry Miller.
Nita's note: "Henry JR and wife Barbara Zumwalt inherited the property of
Henry SR by an agreement in which they were to care for him until his death.
This Barbara Zumwalt was a daughter of Henry, SR. She died 1808 or before.
They had a daughter, also named Barbara Zumwalt. Agreement dated 1 Mar 1804
Mount Hope, Dist. St. Andrew, St. Charles Co. Deeded his land and property to
them. On 26 Jul 1804, remaining heirs of Henry SR petitioned Jas McKay, Com.
St. Andrews District to inventory the estate of the deceased Henry SR. Henry
SR died between 1 Mar 1804 and 26 Jul 1804."

Susanna Zumwalt

Estate of Henry Zumwalt SR. Birth place believed to be Shenandoah Co, as
Henry SR did not move to KY as early as his brothers. Susanna identified as
Susanna Zumwalt in 1820 - so she was either unmarried or married to a man named
Zumwalt. Minors when father died in 1804, signed for by Adam Zumwalt,
Elizabeth Keyser was also signed for, shown as absent, not living in MO.
