Robert’s Rules of Order Revised (1915)*
by General Henry M. Robert
* Many Bylaws require the use of the most recent revision to Robert’s Rules of Order, in which case this edition can serve only as a guide.
Note: This edition of Robert’s Rules of Order, Revised (1915) was created from the Constitution Society’s On-line Edition, which includes copyright restrictions resulting from their modifications and enhancements, including the substitution for page numbers of section and paragraph numbers; the use of the format mm:nn, where mm is the section number and nn the paragraph number; numbered footnotes at the end of sections; and the reformatting and revision of the Order of Precedence of Motions and the Table of Rules Relating to Motions to adapt them to the needs of an online document. The primary difference between this copy of Robert’s and that of the Constitution Society is the addition of a search engine (below).
With a few key strokes and the click of a mouse, you can search Robert’s on USGenNet. Use the drop down menus to customize your search, enter one or more words describing what you are looking for, and click on the Search button. Enjoy!
