Last Saturday evening, and was brought to his old home last Sunday for burial. He was born at Vienna, Austria on December 25, 1844, being past 80 years of age at the time he passed away. He came to American 49 years ago, being engaged in farming until 16 years ago when he retired and moved to Wynot. He left that town six years ago, and has made his home at Vermillion since that time. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Konegni and six children born of two previous marriages, Mrs. Vicki Eastman of Trent, SD, Frank W. Konegni of Wynot, O.M. Konegni and Mrs. Ben Powell of Vermillion, SD, Mrs. Peter Reifenrath of Crofton and Mrs. J.P. Eustace of Carter, SD. In addition to them there are 27 grandchildren and six great grandchildren surviving him. The funeral services were held at Vermillion last Sunday, after which the body was brought to Wynot and laid to rest in the Wynot cemetery.
