Sudbeck, 49 of Garretson, SD and formerly of Hartington, NE, died on Sunday, April 08, 2007 at the Palisade Manor in Garretson. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hartington with Monsignor Cyril Werner officiating. Burial will be at the Hartington City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1-8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Wintz Funeral Home in Hartington. Pallbearers will be Greg McQuay, Troy Fischer, Cody Fischer, Nathan Fischer. Julie Ann Sudbeck was born on May 20, 1958 to Leonard and Mary (Ward) Nieman in Deadwood, SD. She grew up east of Hartington and attended Cedar Catholic High School. She married Dan Sudbeck on May 24, 1975. She lived in Wynot where she raised her two sons. She worked as a nurse's aide at the State Regional Center in Yankton for almost 20 years until the onset of her kidney disease. Julie had been a resident of the Palisade Manor in Garretson, SD for the past 2 1/2 years. Julie is survived by two sons, Chris and Michael Sudbeck of Yankton; stepfather, Richard Promes of Hartington; 3 sisters and spouses, Kathy and Andy Miller of Malcolm, NE, Teresa of Troy Fischer of Hartington, Sue and Greg McQuay of Magnet, NE, Vicky Wiebersiek of Yankton; one brother, Michael and his wife Yvonne Promes of Omaha. Preceding Julie in death were her mother, Mary Promes and brother, John Promes
