Vock, 69, of Grand Island, died on Thursday, January 17, 1991, at the Methodist Hospital, Omaha. Funeral services were on Tuesday, January 22, 1991, at 2:00 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Coleridge, with the Rev. Rollin Olesen and the Rev. Lawrence Becker concelebrating. Burial was at the Lawn Ridge Cemetery, Coleridge. Visitation was held on Monday, January 21, at the Wintz Funeral Home, Coleridge. A prayer service was held Monday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers were: Roger Ambroz, Jerry Puppe, Roger Heitman, Keith Fiscus, Robert Anderson, LeRoy Janssen. Honorary Pallbearers were all her grandchildren. Mrs. Vock was born on June 28, 1921, at Hartington, to William B. and Julia M. (Wohlman) Puntney. She married Clarence H. Vock on January 16, 1944 at Coleridge. Mr. Vock passed away June 13, 1968. she lived in the Hartington area until her marriage when they moved to the Coleridge area. In 1949 they moved into Coleridge and in 1986 she moved to Grand Island. She was a housewife and was a member of the Calvery Lutheran Church, Grand Island, a former member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Coleridge; the Coleridge American Legion Post #114 Auxiliary; and a Charter Member of Solitaries. Survivors include: one son, James, Sargent Bluffs, Ia., five daughters: Mrs. James (Joan) Cautrell, Magnet; Mrs. Milt (Joyce) Peterson, Omaha; Jacqueline Fox, Coleridge; Mrs. Shayne (Julie) Murphy, Grand Island; Mrs. Rick (Jean) Janssen, Auburn; four brothers: Wendell "Dick" Puntney, Wausa; and Ralph Puntney, Randolph; Floyd Puntney, Hartington; one sister, Mrs. Lucille (Arnold) Heitman, Laurel; 15 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. she was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Robert, Edward, and William Puntney; one sister, Viola MacKnight.
