Korth ====================================================================== ETHEL NELSON Services for Ethel Nelson, 87, Norfolk will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday November 20 at the First United Methodist Church. A committal service will be at 2 p.m. at the Magnet cemetery at Magnet. Mrs. Nelson died Tuesday November 16, 2004 at Heritage of Bel-Air. She was born on a farm north of Randolph on April 2, 1917, the daughter of John and Beulah (Delozier) Lackas. She attended rural school and graduated from Randolph High School. On June 27, 1935, she married Roy W. Nelson. They made their home on a farm near Magnet retiring in 1966 and moving to Norfolk. Mr. Nelson died in 1968 and she lived at home until February. While in Norfolk she was employed at the Style Shop and later at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home as a nurse’s aide until her retirement. Survivors include her children and their spouses, John and Mary Nelson of Douglas, Wyo., Stuart and Mary Nelson of Battle Creek and Marilyn and Wayne Arnold of David City; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Phyllis Titman of Norfolk and Florence Anderson of Randolph. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1968.
