The program is arranged for fourteen meetings from October 19 to May 3. It will include:

Early art in Italy as found in the Frescoes of Pompeii.

The dawn of Christian Art.

The Renaissance in Italy.

Influence of Dante's Divina Comedia, as seen in the Painting and Sculpture of Italy.

Leading Schools of Painting in Italy.

Mysticism and Symbolism in Italian Art.

Life in Florence, Venice and Rome, during the balmy days of Italian Art.

The great Master Painters and Sculptors of Italy, and their works, beginning with Giovanni Cimabue and Niccolo Pisano, and ending with Paulo Francesco Michetti and the Artists of today.

Current events in the world of Art will occupy a prominent place in the program. At each meeting these will be given by all the members of the Art Department.

Plans have been made and committees appointed for practical work in the Public Schools by the Art Department during the coming year.
