Mrs. W. M. Winn received a cablegram from her youngest son, Walter Tragsdorf, telling of his marriage to Miss Anna Brooks of New York City.
The marriage took place in Cristobal, Canal Zone, at 3:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23, 1927 at the American Bible Society. The service was read by the Presbyterian minister in charge. The young couple is spending their honeymoon at Taboga Island, 12 miles out in the Pacific Ocean, and plan to visit Wisconsin in the Spring.
Walter Tragsdorf is well known here (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.), having been born and raised in this locality. He was educated in our schools and graduated in the class of 1916. The same summer he left for Panama, where he went to take a government position. He is now foreman in the wholesale warehouse of the P. R. R. Commissary, at Cristobal, Canal Zone.
Mrs. Tragsdorf came to Panama from her home in New York two years ago, passed a civil service examination in typing and has been working at the Army Headquarters, Fort DeLesseps.
