Funeral services for Jesse LaFlex, 80, were held today, Thursday, 2 p.m. at Plombon funeral home (Stanley) by Pastor Robert W. Olson; burial to be in Thorp cemetery; born Reseburg twp on 27 Nov 1896 to Peter and Colista LaFlex; served US Army in WWI and returned to Reseburg Twp., Clark County, Wis., where he logged until retiring to Stanley, where he lived in the Sunset Homes until moving a month ago to Victory Memorial Hospital's nursing home; survived by 2 brothers: Frank LaFlex of Stanley, and Emil LaFlex of Minneapolis, MN; preceded by 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
