Evans, W. N. (? - 10 May 1928)
W. N. Evans, proprietor of the Evans Harness Shop, was taken seriously ill last Saturday with pneumonia and Wednesday afternoon was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield by Dr. F. P. Foley in the Max Virck’s Buick car where he passed away at 2 a.m. yesterday morning.
Although Mr. Evans had not been feeling well for a number of days, he kept on his feet and worked until it was impossible to continue any longer.
Undertaker Fuchsgruber, accompanied by John Schmitt went to Marshfield yesterday forenoon and brought the body here (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) to be prepared for burial.
Relatives have been notified and expect to arrive here this noon. As we go to press before noon no announcement can be made regarding funeral arrangements.
