Breed, Hannah (12 APR 1856 - 31 Mar 1916)
Mrs. Frank Bred, who had been in poor health for some time, died at her home in this city March 31, 1916, aged 59 years, 7 months and 25 days.
She was born at Merrittsville, Canada April 12, 1856, her maiden name being Hannah O’Brien. She came to Wisconsin with her sister, Mrs. Cummings in April 1869. Later she lived with her sister Mrs. R.B. French Sr. at Hatfield until her marriage with Frank Breed Dec. 25, 1876. They took up their residence in Neillsville, and made their home here ever since. She was a woman of quiet everyday good qualities, a helpful wife, kind and loving mother, and a good neighbor, doing faithfully each day the duties that came to her.
She leaves her husband and three children: Mary E., Margaret and Robert, all residing at home; also one brother, John O’Brien of Levis and one sister, Mrs. M.D. Zwight of Ferndale, Ore.
The funeral was held at the home Sunday afternoon, Rev. G.W. Longenecker officiating.
