Carimon, James (? - 10 Apr 1921)
James Carimon died at Mt. View Sanitarium, Wausau, April 10, 1921, a few days after going there for care.
Deceased was well known in this vicinity (Clark County, Wis.) as a bright, intelligent young man, greatly liked by all who knew him. He was a Winnebago Indian, well educated, and of high character. He enlisted early in the war and made a fine record as a brave and efficient soldier. He was gassed while in battle in France, but seemed to partially recover, when consumption set in. The funeral was held in the M.E. Church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. W.T. Scott officiating, the American Legion attending in honor of their dead comrade.
